SIXTY EIGHTH ANNUAL CONVENTION AND AWARDS SHOW

The International Country Gospel Music Association (I.C.G.M.A.) is celebrating it’s 68th  Anniversary with their 2024 Convention and Awards Show on July 11th, 12th & 13th.   The event is held in Historic West Plains, Missouri at The Bridge Church. (formerly The Barn Event Center).  Over 120 Artists and musicians gather annually from all across America for the 3-day event, performing to capacity crowds each evening. 

The I.C.G.M.A. is the oldest Christian Music organization in America.  It began in Texas, where it was first organized by Dr. Lindsey Thompson and Billy Holcomb.  In it’s colorful history, the annual Conventions and Awards Shows have been held in Dallas, Oklahoma City, in the Nashville area, and for the past 15 years in West Plains, Missouri, the hometown of Country Music stars Porter Wagoner and Jan Howard,  The music is Country Gospel, (Christian Country), Bluegrass Gospel, and Southern Gospel. Artists come from nearly every state in our Nation, as well as several foreign countries.

The I.C.G.M.A. Gold Cross Awards Show honors excellence in music in 26 categories, as well as inducting two artists each year into their prestigious Hall of Fame. 

Each year at our ICGMA Convention, we offer artists the opportunity to sing on Showcases to allow promoters, industry and media representatives, pastors, writers, and fans a chance to become acquainted with you and your music. The schedule includes a New Artist Reception on Friday morning,  Daily Showcases each morning and afternoon, exciting Evening concerts, the Gold Cross Awards Show on Saturday night, and a beautiful Artist Appreciation Banquet.
